Optimyze Data Deletion Policy

Optimyze respects users' rights to control their personal information. This Data Deletion Policy explains how users may request deletion of their Optimyze account and associated personal information and how Optimyze processes those requests.

Users may request deletion of their account at any time through an in-app deletion feature when available or by contacting privacy@optimyzeapp.com or support@optimyzeapp.com. Verification may be required before processing the request.

Upon verification of a valid deletion request, Optimyze will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize personal information associated with the account, including profile information, email address, linked financial account connections, transaction data, Financial Fitness Score history, savings goals, budgeting information, personalized insights, challenges, and related account data.

Optimyze uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to facilitate financial account connections. Upon deletion, linked account connections will be removed, financial data retrieval will cease, and stored financial data will be deleted or anonymized subject to legal obligations and technical limitations.

Optimyze may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, protect security, or maintain required business records.

Most verified deletion requests are expected to be completed within thirty (30) days. Certain information may remain temporarily in backup systems until applicable retention periods expire.

Optimyze may retain information that has been permanently anonymized and can no longer reasonably identify an individual user. Such information may be used for analytics, product improvement, service development, security monitoring, and statistical reporting.

Once deletion is completed, account access will be permanently disabled. Financial Fitness Scores, historical records, personalized goals, insights, and challenge history may not be recoverable.

Optimyze may update this Data Deletion Policy from time to time. Changes become effective when posted on the Services.
